I'm happy to say my big speaker in my passenger side footwell was only loose in the housing, not blown out. Tightened the bolts (not screws, which is strange) down and no more weird vibrating noise!
The speaker itself looks to be in decent condition. Better than I thought a 17 year old speaker would look. Just a little dusty, which I wiped off.
The mid-range speaker on the passenger door is for sure dying though. Strange noises that one makes.

Well, considering that when I looked at a set of 15 year old speakers in a Saturn two weeks ago, all the rubber had decayed off and the cardboard cones were disintegrating, that speaker is really amazing by comparison.

Sounds like how the speakers in my dads 11 year old Silverado looked when we changed them. They were really, really bad.
